We lost Baxter in January 2024, aged 14 years. We was very much loved, and we miss him every single day.
Baxter came into our home as a gorgeous 8 week old puppy. He was a real live wire from the start and kept us busy with his mischievous antics. We began our showing career when Baxter was 6 months old entering limit and open shows. Our first champ show was entered, in which Baxter came first in his class, qualifying him for Crufts 2011. Baxter qualified for Crufts in 2012, and in 2013 entered the BASC working Dog class in which he was placed second in a class of over 30 dogs. That was a very proud moment and one of which I will never forget.

Baxter competed in Novice Gundog Workings Tests and picked up over the winter on our local shoot which he enjoyed immensely. He was never lacking in enthusiasm! In his younger years he also competed in Working Trials and has achieved first places and high scores in both the Introductory and Companion Dog (CD) Stakes.
Baxter also competed in Kennel Club Rally Obedience for a number of years and has achieved his Level 1,2,3,4 and 5 Titles.
