Alys is our first working bred Labrador. She is a little fire cracker, who is sweet and affectionate, but with a work ethic to die for! She was bred by my friend Collette May, and she is everything I hoped for in a working bred Lab. She loves training whether this is Gundog training or Scent Detection, and searches like a demon. She is responsive, fast and keen to learn new things, she also settles well in our home. She also very pretty, and has a good overall construction - something which is important to me x
Alys' sire is Ft Ch TanyRhallt Bluebloods. Troy gained his Field Trial Champioin status as a 3 year old, and was placed 2nd in the IGL in 2019. Troy is tested clear for STGD, SD2, EIC, prcd-PRA and CNM. Alys' dam is a lovely talented working bitch who has won both puppy and novice working tests. I waited patiently for over 2 years for a puppy from her, and Alys was well worth the wait.
Alys started competing in National Nosework Association competitions in February of 2025. She started in Entry and finished the year winning her first Elite Trial with a clean sweep.
She went on to win Reserve Team of the Year, and winning the Gundog League also. This is a league table based on a points system that you can find out more about on the NNA website. Points are gained over the 12 month period and collated at the end of the year. Myself and Allie also gain four synergy awards over the course of the year that are awarded to teams that show exceptional skill working together. They are something I am very proud of.
Allie has also dabbled in Hoopers and Gundog Training, and I've just got her Rally online number, so we might dabble in that too!
